DESCRIPTION: Project Zero is an editorial initiative at HuffPost that uses both new and traditional media to raise awareness around neglected tropical diseases and efforts to fight them.
Alongside news, features, data and video coverage, Project Zero includes contributions and dispatches from those on the front lines. With a six figure grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, we sent a team of journalists and VR filmmakers to affected communities in Africa, bringing the stories of neglected tropical diseases to our audience.
